This page explains how LinCal decides which tasks to load and display, and why some tasks might not appear.

What gets loaded

Calendar (tasks with due dates)

  • Tasks are loaded per calendar month as you scroll.
  • Only tasks from your selected teams (or your teams by default) are fetched.
  • All matching tasks for that month are loaded (no hard limit).

Tasks without due date (bottom bar)

  • Only tasks updated in the last 2 months are loaded.
  • Older tasks without due dates do not appear here.

Why a task might not show up

  1. Team scope — By default you only see tasks from teams you’re a member of. Select more teams in the filter to see others.
  2. Display filters — Status, project, assignee, cycle, or label filters can hide tasks that match the load criteria.
  3. Completed / sub-issues — If “Show completed” or “Show sub-issues” is off, those tasks are hidden.
  4. Tasks without due date — Only tasks updated in the last 2 months appear in the bottom bar.
  5. Per-day limit — Each day shows up to 4 tasks; the rest are under the “More” button.
  6. Weekends — If “Show weekends” is off, weekend days are hidden.
